At Park Avenue, we know recruitment is an exciting and rewarding industry, but it can also be fast-paced and high-pressure. Meeting targets, supporting multiple clients, and balancing a busy workload mean stress can build up if it’s not managed well. That’s why we introduced Wellness Wednesdays, a quarterly initiative designed to give our team the opportunity to pause, reset, and invest in their wellbeing.
Wellness Wednesdays are all about doing something different, wholesome and enriching. Each session is designed to support our consultants’ mental, physical and emotional health, helping them thrive both in and outside of work. Over the past few years, we’ve hosted everything from sip-and-paint sessions and fitness activities to financial wellbeing workshops and keynote talks on preventing burnout.
Our most recent Wellness Wednesday for Q3 saw the team head next door for a spin class at the newly opened studio beside our offices, an energising way to start the morning and a great reminder of the benefits of movement for both mind and body.
We do this because we know that wellbeing directly impacts performance. When our consultants feel supported, balanced and motivated, they’re not only happier, they’re also more productive, resilient and ready to take on new challenges. Wellness Wednesdays are one of the ways we show our team that their health and happiness genuinely matter.
These sessions also bring everyone together. They give our team the chance to connect, recharge and have fun, strengthening the supportive culture that makes Park Avenue such a great place to work.
