Park Avenue are pleased to be partnering with a public sector organisation in Essex that is seeking an Interim Community & Neighbourhood Asset Surveyor.
Contract Details
3-month initial contract (likely to extend)
£450 per day (Inside IR35)
2-3 days per week in the office
Key Responsibilities
Lead the review and verification of community and neighbourhood assets across designated areas, including buildings, land and community facilities.
Review and validate existing asset data such as condition surveys, building information and freehold/leasehold records, ensuring accuracy across council systems.
Undertake site inspections and high-level condition and suitability assessments to support strategic decision-making.
Produce clear, evidence-based option appraisals for individual assets or groups of assets, outlining risks, costs and strategic implications.
Contribute to wider estate strategies including asset rationalisation, community asset transfer considerations and alignment with the Asset Disposal Programme.
Provide professional property advice to support decisions on retention, consolidation, re-provision, community use or disposal of assets.
About You
Experience working within a local authority property or asset management team (preferred).
MRICS qualification desirable.
