Our Wellness Wednesday programme brings us together to try new things, we've covered off fitness at Barry's boot camp, amateur sleuthing with a murder mystery, painting classes, a bake off, tree planting and much more.

Our Story

Park Avenue was founded by Rich and Ella in 2017. Since then, we've been on a journey to become the best supplier of public sector talent, and have had some great times along the way.

Park Avenue is born

The year we launched, at a kitchen table in Brixton in January. We placed our first contractor with a local authority in February, and in November had moved into our first proper office.

The team grows

Our future leaders Ben and Amy join the team, and we expand our offering from not just Town Planning but Property and Housing too.

The growth continues

We become a team of 10 and have over 100 contractors represented by Park Avenue working in local authorities nationwide.


Our first target hitter's team holiday to Barcelona! Later in the year Covid hits, but we maintain steady business and keep our team.

Progression continues

Ben becomes our first Team Leader, from starting at Park Avenue as a graduate, and future top performers Alicia and Shivani start their recruitment journeys with Park Avenue.


Shortlisted for “Recruitment Company of the Year”. Sophie begins designing our bespoke training program to ensure the same success for anyone new joining the team, and Amy becomes our second Team Leader.

Growing culture

As we grow so does our culture; we have Wellness Wednesdays, a Mental Health First Aider, and achieve our Great Place to Work Certification, carry on hiring, and celebrate many promotions.

The next chapter

Park Avenue have moved into a big new office on High Holborn. We have a management team of 8, the majority of whom started with Park Avenue as graduates, and have helped over 230 local authorities recruit contract staff. We're searching for ambitious future Consultants to join for the next part of our journey.
