A Local Authority in East Sussex is looking for an experienced Housing Options Officer to join their team until the end of March, with the potential for extension. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference for people facing housing challenges.
You'll be responsible for managing cases from start to finish, including drafting S184 decision letters and providing essential guidance to those experiencing homelessness.
With a reduced caseload of around 10 cases per week, you'll have the time and capacity to offer focused, high-quality support.
The rate is dependent on your experience.
The role requires three days a week on-site at the Prevention Hub, working remotely for the remainder.
Experience in homelessness services within a Local Authority is essential.
