A Local Authority in Bedfordshire is looking for an experienced Housing Options Officer to support the team on an initial 3 month contract, attending the office 2 days per week.
What you'll be doing:
Interviewing clients and assessing homelessness applications under Part 7
Providing housing advice and prevention options in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act
Liaising with landlords, support services and internal teams
Updating cases and managing applications through Locata
What you'll need:
Previous experience working as a Housing Options Officer within a Local Authority
Experience managing your own caseload and drafting S184 decisions
Previous experience using Locata
Ability to attend the office 2 days per week
