Interim Senior Estates Surveyor
Rate: £450-£500 per day
Contract length: 3+ months
Office attendance: 1/2 days per week in office
A North Yorkshire Local Authority is seeking an experienced Senior Estates Surveyor to support a broad and varied property portfolio. This interim role offers a fast-paced workload and the opportunity to contribute to key estates and asset-management priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver estates management across a mixed operational and investment portfolio
Handle lease renewals, rent reviews, valuations, acquisitions and disposals
Provide professional advice on landlord & tenant matters
Support asset strategy, compliance, and portfolio optimisation
Work closely with internal stakeholders, legal teams and external partners
Requirements
Strong background in estates surveying; local authority experience highly preferred
Confident managing a wide range of property types and casework
Able to work independently and deliver at pace
MRICS desirable but not essential with relevant experience
