Interim Estates Surveyor

East Midlands Contract £375 - £400 Per Day

A Midlands-based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to support its property team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

This role will primarily focus on day-to-day property management across the council's commercial portfolio, ensuring effective estate performance and tenant engagement. While there will be some landlord and tenant work, the position is predominantly property management focused.

A key element of the role will involve managing and overseeing service charges, so prior experience in this area will be important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio

  • Tenant liaison and general estate management

  • Oversight and administration of service charges

  • Supporting income management and lease compliance

  • Handling some landlord and tenant matters including lease events where required

  • Rate: £400 per day

  • IR35: Inside IR35

  • Location: Midlands Local Authority

  • Working Pattern: 3 days per week, with 3 days on-site in the office

  • Contract: Interim
