Facilities Manager - Local Authority
£400-£500 per day | 3-Month Rolling Contract
We're working with a Local Authority looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to support the safe, compliant and effective management of its property portfolio, including corporate buildings and schools.
You'll be responsible for overseeing hard FM services, statutory compliance, planned and reactive maintenance, and contractor performance across the estate.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee hard FM services and external contractors
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance
- Review FRA, LRA, EICR and other PPM reports, ensuring remedial actions are completed
- Monitor statutory compliance across the property portfolio
- Support compliance audits and maintain accurate asset data
- Liaise with building managers, occupiers and internal property teams

We're looking for someone with:
- Strong Facilities / Property Management experience
- Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical and BMS systems
- Understanding of fire, legionella and electrical compliance
- Experience managing contractors and monitoring service delivery
- Ideally an HNC/HND in Building, Property or Facilities Management, or equivalent experience
- Around 5+ years' relevant experience Facilities Manager JDPS Facilities Manager JDPS
