Interim Principal Estates Surveyor

North West | Hybrid | 3-Month Initial Contract | Inside IR35

A Local Authority in the North West is seeking an Interim Principal Estates Surveyor to provide immediate support to its commercial property team.

You'll be responsible for managing a commercial property portfolio, undertaking general estates management including rent reviews, lease renewals, landlord & tenant matters and wider asset management responsibilities. There is also an opportunity to support on regeneration-related projects where required.

Requirements:

• MRICS preferred (not essential)
• Local Authority experience preferred
• Strong commercial estates management background
• Experience dealing with elected members and politically sensitive matters
• Telecoms property experience desirable

The role offers hybrid working with two days per week in the office initially, reducing to around one day once established.

Initial 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. Interviews taking place immediately.
