Surrey | £65 per Hour | 6-Month Contract | 1 Day Per Week in Office
We're working with a Surrey-based local authority looking to appoint an experienced Major Projects Officer on an initial 6-month contract.
You'll take the lead on a portfolio of major, strategic and complex planning applications, managing schemes from pre-application stage through to determination. The role involves negotiating Section 106 agreements, working closely with developers and stakeholders, preparing committee reports, and providing expert planning advice on high-profile developments.
Requirements:
- Significant Development Management experience within a local authority
- Strong background handling major and complex planning applications
- Experience negotiating Section 106 agreements
- Excellent report writing and Planning Committee experience
Package:
- £65 per hour
- 6 month initial contract
- Surrey based authority
- 1 day per week in the office
- Immediate start available
