I'm currently working with a Local Authority in the Devon area seeking a skilled Planning Ecologist to support ecological input into the planning process on a 5-month contract.
In this role, you'll review planning applications, provide expert ecological advice, ensure compliance with the Environment Act, Habitat Regulations, and planning policy, and carry out site visits where required.
Ideal Candidate:
* Ecology and planning experience
* Local authority background (desirable)
* Strong understanding of environmental legislation
* Confident communicator
* Flexible hybrid working
Contract Details:
* Length: 5 months
* Rate: Negotiable
* Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office
