An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Officer to join an established local authority Development Management team in Nottinghamshire.
Offering a competitive hourly rate, and flexible hybrid working, this role would suit a confident officer looking for their next contract within a supportive planning service.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing and processing a range of smaller planning applications, ensuring cases progress efficiently and decisions are made in accordance with relevant planning policies and legislation.
You will manage your own caseload, working independently while contributing to the wider Development Management team.
What's on Offer?
- £40 - £45 per hour
- Full-time contract - 37 hours per week
- Hybrid working - just one day per week in the office
- Local authority Development Management team
- ASAP start
About You:
You will have previous Development Management experience within a local authority and be confident managing a varied caseload of planning applications.
You'll need to be organised, proactive and able to hit the ground running, progressing applications independently while maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
