I am working with a Local Authority in the Gloucestershire area who are seeking an experienced CIL Officer to support the team on an initial 6-month interim assignment. This is a great opportunity for a CIL/S106 professional with strong administrative and monitoring experience to take on a varied and important role within a busy planning service.
The Role:
As a CIL Officer, you will:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain the Council's CIL and S106 obligations
- Process and track CIL receipts, instalments, and exemptions
- Support the preparation and maintenance of the Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS)
- Liaise with developers, agents, and internal departments regarding developer contributions
- Ensure accurate record keeping across relevant systems and databases
- Provide advice and guidance on CIL Regulations and processes where required
- Support wider planning teams in relation to developer contributions and compliance matters
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months initially
- Rate: DOE (Dependent on Experience) - rate to be sent alongside CV
- Working pattern: Hybrid / remote working for the right candidate
- Hours: Full-time
