A Dorset Council is looking for an experienced Environmental Protection Officer to join its Environmental Protection team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone searching for Environmental Protection Officer jobs who has strong experience investigating domestic nuisance complaints within a local authority environment.
The role will involve:
- Investigating noise, light and odour nuisance
- Dealing with hoarding, drainage and associated nuisance complaints
- Managing a full caseload from initial allocation through to resolution
- Receiving and updating cases on the Civica system
- Liaising with residents and relevant parties throughout investigations
- Taking appropriate action in line with environmental protection legislation and council procedures
They're looking for someone with previous local authority experience and a strong background in Environmental Protection, statutory nuisance investigations and case management.
