Park Avenue are delighted to be partnering with a Local Authority in Bedfordshire who are seeking an Interim Head of Estates to join the team on a short-term basis while they recruit permanently.
Contract Details:
* £600-£650 per day (Inside IR35)
* 2-3 days per week in the office
* Initial 3-6-month contract
The Role:
* Leading the Estates Service across the council's commercial and rural property portfolio
* Managing matters relating to land ownership, leases, acquisitions, and disposals
* Overseeing negotiations, compulsory purchase activity, acquisitions, and disposals through to completion
* Managing lease events, rent reviews, service charges, consents, and compliance
About You:
* MRICS qualified (essential)
* Previous experience leading an Estates Team
* Experience delivering capital projects
* Local authority experience preferred
