We're working with a Surrey-based Local Authority who are looking to bring in an Interim Property Support Officer to support their Estates team during a busy period of restructuring and data migration.
This is a key support role sitting within the Assets & Systems function, reporting into the Asset & Systems Manager, and working closely with surveyors, asset managers, and the wider estates team. With increased pressure on the team due to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) and significant data workstreams ahead of April, they need someone who can come in quickly and get stuck into the operational detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Uploading and maintaining leases and property data on the asset management system (Uniform/Asset Manager or similar)
- Ensuring the asset register is accurate, complete, and fully up to date
- Supporting GIS updates and property mapping data
- Assisting with data cleansing and migration activity ahead of LGR changes
- Providing administrative and systems support across property, estates, and FM functions
- Working closely with surveyors and asset managers to ensure data aligns with operational activity
- Supporting areas such as service charges, insurance data, and valuations where needed
About You
- Experience working within a local authority estates/property team.
- Strong background in asset systems, property databases, or GIS.
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data, leases, and property records.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and able to prioritise workload.
- Able to work independently and support a busy team under pressure.
- Experience with systems such as Uniform, Asset Manager, or similar would be highly beneficial.
Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 6th, with a view to starting as soon as possible.
