A local authority in West Sussex is seeking a Prevention Outreach Officer to start immediately on an initial 3-month contract and this could be you!
What you'll be doing:
- Assessing clients at the contingency hotel and obtaining relevant documentation
- Facilitating referrals, and supporting move-on plans
- Identifying support needs and liaising with partner agencies to meet them
- Assisting with resettlement into permanent accommodation
- Delivering monthly workshops at the hotel

What helps you stand out:
- Experience using Home Connections is desirable
- Previous experience in homelessness prevention, or resettlement support
Pay rate: £27-£28 per hour, dependent on experience
