INTERIM ESTATES SURVEYOR
SOUTH OF ENGLAND
Park Avenue are pleased to be partnered with a Local Authority in the South of England who require an Interim Estates Surveyor on an initial 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Undertake commercial property negotiations on new lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals and landlord and tenant transactions.
- Advising on land disposals and assets for re-purposing.
- Deputising for the Property Manager when they're absent.
- Liaise with legal colleagues and external lawyers with regards new lease and changes to existing leases.
- Organising service charges and managing arrears with tenants.
Contract Details:
- £450 per day INSIDE IR35
- 6 month contract
- 2-3 days in office per week (this can include site inspections)
- Interviews this side of Christmas
- Contract start date will be January 2026
MRICS is required, Registered Valuer accreditation is desirable but not essential. They do need someone who has previous Local Authority experience - whether you've worked in a Council or acted as agent for a Council.
The hiring manager recommends usage of a car for this role as site inspections will be required.
