I am working with a Local Authority in the South West who are seeking a Validations Officer to join their Town Planning team. This role is perfect for someone with experience in planning validations who wants to make an immediate impact in a supportive and dynamic council environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Validate and register major and minor planning applications in line with the Town and Country Planning Act and local validation requirements.
Review application submissions for accuracy, completeness, and statutory compliance.
Liaise with applicants, agents, and internal planning officers to resolve validation queries.
Maintain accurate records using the council's planning and case management system.
Role Details:
Contract Length: 3 months
Rate: £32 per hour
Working Pattern: Flexible hybrid/remote options (e.g., occasional office attendance, potentially once a week or less)
