We are seeking a proactive and skilled ASB Officer to manage a varied caseload of anti-social behaviour (ASB), neighbourhood disputes, and tenancy breaches. The role requires a balance of robust, proportionate enforcement and empathetic customer support, aimed at maintaining safe and sustainable communities.

This is a largely home and patch‑based position with weekly office attendance for case discussions, team collaboration, and operational updates.

  • Conduct investigations, gather evidence, interview customers, and prepare accurate statements and legal reports.
  • Progress enforcement actions, including injunctions, possession proceedings, and evictions when appropriate.
  • Support victims and witnesses, ensuring safeguarding duties are met at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with Police, health and mental health services, domestic abuse partners, safeguarding teams, and voluntary organisations.
  • Maintain clear, detailed case records to identify trends, risks, and service improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to preventative interventions through mediation, early engagement, and community safety initiatives.
  • Represent the organisation at multi-agency meetings, forums, and case conferences.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Experience managing ASB, tenancy enforcement, or community safety casework.
  • Confident understanding of civil procedures and evidence standards.
  • Excellent communication, with strong report‑writing and statement‑taking skills.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage sensitive or challenging situations.
  • Experience working effectively with multi-agency partners.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).

What We're Looking For

A confident, organised enforcer who can blend assertiveness with empathy. Someone who is proactive, solutions‑focused, and committed to improving outcomes for residents and communities.

Opportunity

This is a 6‑month temporary role with the strong potential to become permanent, ideal for someone seeking to develop or continue a career in ASB and community safety.
