I'm delighted to be supporting a Local Authority in the West Midlands that are restructuring their Heritage Enforcement Team and looking to appoint two Senior Enforcement Officer on an initial 6-month temporary contract basis to support this. This is a very exciting time for the service as they moving to a more proactive style of work, which favours more direct enforcement approach as opposed to the more 'traditional' approach, so proactive individuals who prioritise site visits, serving of notices and writing reports is the experience required. The two contractors will help support the service during this change of approach and will play key roles in delivery of the week and shaping change within the authority.
The role requires experience in planning enforcement, experience of working within heritage enforcement experience is a bonus. This role is being offered on a hybrid working basis with an expectation of 2 day a week in the office.
The Experience You Will Bring:
- Educated to degree level in Planning or a relevant subject
- Experience in Enforcement
- Thorough working knowledge of practices, methodologies, and legislation within Enforcement
- Site visits, serving of notices and writing reports
- Proven ability to enforce legislation where appropriate
Job Details:
- Rate - £45.00 p/h - 50.00 p/h
- Working Pattern - Hybrid (2 days on site per week)
- Contract Length - Initial 6-month contact, then reviewed every quarter
