Interim Senior General Practice Surveyor
- Office attendance: 1 day per week in office (Nottinghamshire)
- Rate: £350-£400 per day (Inside IR35 - potential scope for Outside)

We are currently supporting a Local Authority in their search for an experienced Senior General Practice Surveyor to join their Property Services team on an interim basis.
This is a key role within the organisation, focused on managing and developing a diverse property portfolio to maximise income, asset value, and regeneration opportunities.
The Role:
Reporting to the Principal General Practice Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of estate management and valuation activities across operational and non-operational assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of land and property assets
- Providing strategic advice on asset utilisation and estate optimisation
- Leading landlord & tenant negotiations, lease events, and valuations
- Supporting the delivery of the Council's Asset Management Plan
- Managing acquisitions, disposals, and property transactions
- Delivering capital and rental valuations across a range of property types
- Advising on rating, dilapidation's, easements, and way leaves
- Supporting regeneration initiatives and external investment opportunities
- Preparing reports, committee papers, and strategic recommendations
You will also contribute to maintaining accurate asset registers and property records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practice.
