A council in Surrey are recruiting an Interim Repairs Surveyor for an inital 3 months.
They are seeking an experienced Repairs Surveyor to help maintain and improve properties within a defined area. The role involves inspecting homes, identifying repair needs, and specifying appropriate works to resolve both routine and complex building issues, including damp and mould.
You will oversee external contractors, carry out post-work inspections, and ensure repairs are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. A strong focus on customer satisfaction, value for money, and service performance is essential.
The successful candidate will be technically knowledgeable, able to work independently, and confident in communicating clearly with residents and colleagues. Previous experience in residential repairs or surveying is required.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
4 days office presence - Hybrid.
