Interim Estates Surveyor - High Peak Borough Council
High Peak Borough Council is seeking an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to support its property and estates function on a 3-6 month contract.
The role will focus on core General Practice estates work across the Council's portfolio, including:
- Lease renewals
- Rent reviews
- Landlord & tenant matters
- General estate management
- Providing professional property advice as required
Key Details
Rate: £450 per day
Contract: 3-6 month initial contract
Working arrangement: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office
Location: Split across 2 Council locations, 1 day in Staffordshire & 2 days in Buxton
Start date: Mid-October
Interviews: Likely to take place on 28th September
Essential Requirements
- MRICS qualification is essential
- Strong General Practice / Estates Surveying experience
- Experience of lease renewals and rent reviews
- Previous Local Authority or wider public sector property experience is highly desirable
