Interim Damp Surveyor - Surrey Council
Surrey (Hybrid - office & site)
6-12 month contract
£350 per day (Inside IR35)
A Surrey-based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Interim Damp Surveyor to support their repairs team. You'll join a small, growing team focused on improving damp and mould response and overall property standards.
The Role
- Carry out inspections for damp, mould, and building defects
- Diagnose issues and produce reports and remedial specifications
- Manage contractors to ensure quality, cost, and delivery
- Ensure compliance with housing standards and H&S regulations
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve cases efficiently
About You
- Experience in damp & mould surveying within social housing/local authority
- Strong knowledge of building pathology and property maintenance
- Confident managing a mobile, site-based workload
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
