Senior Enforcement Officer (part time)

Part-Time Senior Enforcement Officer | 24 Hours Per Week

A local authority in Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Enforcement Officer to provide additional support across a varied caseload of planning enforcement matters.

The successful candidate will assist with the investigation and resolution of a range of planning breaches, working alongside an established team and helping progress cases through to conclusion.

Key Experience Required:

• Local authority planning enforcement experience
• Ability to manage a varied enforcement caseload
• Experience investigating planning breaches and preparing reports
• Strong negotiation and case management skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Contract Details:

• 24 hours per week
• 6-month initial contract
• £45 per hour (flexible for the right candidate)
• Hybrid working arrangement
• Approximately 1 day per week required in the area
