I am working with a trusted client of mine on the East Coast of England who have just had sign off for three roles to help support them in putting forward their new plan. The deadlines are quite tight; Plans to be completed by 31st December, Gateway by April 2027. My client has asked for an experienced Senior Planning Policy Officer who is self-motivated, able to hit the ground running. Housing Policy experience would be advantageous. This is a very exciting time for the service as they put in place the Plan for the future, and they want candidates to embrace this and be part of this.
Experience that you will bring:
- Educated to degree level in Planning or a relevant subject
- Experienced in Planning, particularly Housing Policy
- Thorough working knowledge of practices, methodologies, and legislation
- Self motivated
Job details:
- £50.00 - £55.00 p/h
- 9-month contract with strong likelihood of extension.
- Hybrid working - onsite present once per week, (or two days per fortnight would work)
