6 -12 month contract
£350 per day (Inside IR35)
A Surrey-based Local Authority is looking for an experienced Interim Voids Surveyor to join their voids team. You'll join a small, growing team focused on improving void turnaround and delivering quality homes.
The Role
- Conduct pre and post void inspections
- Specify works and produce schedules for refurbishment
- Manage contractors to ensure quality, cost, and timelines are met
- Ensure properties meet lettable standards and compliance requirements
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver efficient void turnaround
About You
- Background in voids or building surveying within social housing/local authority
- Strong technical knowledge of repairs and refurbishment
- Confident managing a mobile, site-based workload
- Good stakeholder and contractor management skills
