INTERIM BUILDING SURVEYOR
HAMPSHIRE
Park Avenue are pleased to be working with a Local Authority in Hampshire who need 2x Interim Building Surveyors to work on their HRA.
It'll be an initial 6 month contract, where you'll likely be extended due to permanent recruitment being a natural challenge.
This Local Authority need you to focus explicitly on their social housing portfolio, writing specifications and tender documents, and overseeing minor works/improvements on their void assets. You'll be managing the performance and output from their designated Contractor - holding them accountable to budgets and key measurables.
- Holding an accreditation with RICS is desirable but not essential. The key requirement is knowledge of legislation, and best practice relating to Building Regulations and The Decent Homes standard.
- Public sector experience is required - Local Authority ideally.
- Hybrid working is available - ideally you'll be visiting sites 2-3 days per week, and this can become more infrequent as you get to know the portfolio and team.
