Key Details:

Job Title: Interim Estates Surveyor
Contract: Initial 3-month rolling contract
Rate: £350-£450 per day (dependent on experience and chartered status)
Working Pattern: 2 days per week in the office, 3 days working from home

This is a hands-on, "boots on the ground" estates management role covering a broad range of responsibilities, including:

Rent reviews
Lease renewals
Tenant engagement
Repairs and maintenance matters
Requests for lettings
General day-to-day estates management work

The council is ideally looking for someone with local authority experience; however, this is not a non-negotiable requirement. Candidates from other sectors will be considered, provided they have a good understanding of governance, council processes, and the sensitivities involved in working within a public sector environment.
