Looking for your next Planning Enforcement Officer contract within a stable Local Authority team?
A Surrey based Local Authority is seeking a Planning Enforcement Officer to support a busy enforcement function with a backlog of cases.
This role is ideal for a Planning Enforcement Officer with at least 1 year's experience in a local authority setting, looking to build on their exposure to enforcement.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out site visits
- Assessing potential breaches of planning control
- Working on a backlog of Enforcement cases
- Working to resolve cases efficiently and pragmatically
What you'll need:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a local authority enforcement team
- Understanding of planning enforcement processes
- Confident undertaking site visits and reporting findings
- Able to manage and clear cases at pace
