South West England Contract £62 - £65 Per Hour

A Local Authority in the Southwest is on the hunt for their next Principal Planning Policy Officer. They are seeking a seasoned Principal Planner with extensive experience in leading the development and implementation of planning policies, with a particular focus on minerals and waste.

In this role, the Principal Planning Policy Officer will provide expert advice on planning matters, conduct detailed research and data analysis, and collaborate closely with stakeholders, including local communities, developers, and government agencies.

Key responsibilities:

  • This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week.
  • Attendance at the office: Flexible
  • 3-month contract, with the scope to be extended.
  • Up to £65 per hour INSIDE IR35.
