We are working with a London Borough in recruiting an interim Senior Finance Analyst on an initial six-month basis.
This role is all encompassing in that it includes the technical and business partnering side of accounting.
Main responsibilities of the role…
- Leading on the finance business partnering for capital accounting for the Borough.
- Leading the year end mapping of capital expenditure to asset additions.
- Lead on ensuring the asset register is accurately updated each year as well as supporting a series of financial reporting tasks across capital.
- Advise on and maintain appropriate financial controls and to challenge senior managers as necessary in this regard.
An ideal candidate must…
- Have extensive knowledge of Fixed Asset Registers and Capital Accounting.
- Be ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Be able to provide an office presence for 2 days a week at the council office in West London.
