Senior Planning Officer (Development Management)

I am working with an East Anglia-based Local Authority who require an interim Senior Planning Officer to join the team.
Park Avenue work very closely with this Planning team, contractors that have worked there express how supportive and friendly everyone is.
This position will include:
- A mixed caseload (legacy and new) that mainly vary between Householder and Complex Minor applications to focus on.
- Assisting with Appeal responses and acting on behalf of the Council.
- Travelling to the local area on a weekly basis to carry out site visits.
Contractors that I have previously placed into the team initially begin on a three-month initial contract and have been offered numerous contract extensions due to their great performance. This is the same initial contract with scope for longevity also.
The Council is offering an hourly rate of £45 per hour inside IR35 and would like the chosen contractor to start in the team by the 19th of May - they are interviewing this week. If you think you could take this position on, I would recommend getting in touch before it is too late.
