Strategic Housing Consultant
Park Avenue has partnered with two Local Authorities (with shared services) to find a Strategic Housing Consultant!
With new political leadership prioritising affordable housing, these Councils urgently need to fill a gap in their Strategic Housing function, a role that was previously part of their structure. The position involves liaising with Registered Providers (RPs), reviewing Section 106 agreements, and optimising the Councils' processes across their Planning, Development, and Housing divisions.
You'll report directly to the Director of Place and will lead regular meetings attended by both Local Authorities' Heads of Housing, Heads of Planning, and Director of Communities.
Given the scope of this role, you'll enjoy significant autonomy to enhance the Councils' processes and strengthen partnerships moving forward. You can also work predominantly from home (although will need to be present for meetings occasionally).
