As a Tree Officer, you will:
- Assess and determine Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications
* Provide professional arboricultural advice on a variety of tree-related matters
* Undertake site visits and inspections where required
* Respond to enquiries from residents, applicants and other stakeholders
* Prepare reports and recommendations in accordance with legislation and local policy
Contract Details:
- Initial 3-month contract
* Part-time working pattern
* Flexible working arrangements available
* Site visits required as part of the role
* Rates to be discussed
The hiring manager is keen to understand the current market and is open to hearing what rates experienced Tree Officers are seeking. Whether you are actively looking or simply open to hearing about opportunities, I'd be pleased to discuss the role further.
If this position could be of interest, please get in touch with an up-to-date CV and an indication of your expected rate.
Please note: Not all opportunities are advertised. I work with Local Authorities across the country on interim assignments covering Development Management, Planning Policy, Planning Enforcement, CIL, Technical Support and Arboricultural services, and would be happy to discuss other opportunities that may be relevant to your experience.
